New here on NoFap I'm 17 and have been struggling with porn from the age of 7. I want to give up this lifestyle and become someone who I'm proud to be. Day 1 starting NoFap and giving up porn! Any advice or support is appreciated!
Welcome to the community! @readytobeabetterme From the age of 7? Wow, that's hella early! What made you begin watch porn at that young age? My first advice to you is to really be determined to reach your goal. Relapses might happen but if it's possible to avoid them, I would highly suggest it. Try as much as you can to not fall for the urges and cravings you will have to deal with during this process. When they appear, tell yourself "No, I don't want this or need this, this is only my brain playing tricks on me to get what it want" for example. Next is to avoid "triggers" and with "triggers" I mean things that you might see that will make you want to watch porngraphic material. Social medias for example is a bad thing to put to much attention on while trying to free yourself from the porn addiction. The last thing I will suggest is to use a "blocker" on both your phone and computer, the harder it will be for you to access porngraphic material the less effort you will try to reach those sites because it will be more or less impossible. I wish you luck in your goal to free yourself from that porn addiction of yours, stay strong and stay determined!
