If you are in recovery and you are still able to gain an erection, you are not a severe case. Everything you mentioned sounds like typical flatline which is positive. 40 days is good progress, try and aim for 90 days of no PMO and then reassess how you feel. Do not let the depression or anhedonia throw you off, in fact, welcome it and use it to keep pushing forward. The worst the depression, the quicker you will actually heal believe it or not. When I started recovery, I went through exactly this for my first 6 months. I was depressed, tired, anxious. I couldn't focus or think straight, I kept getting sick, I had non-stop headaches, insomnia. Most of all I had no libido, my penis was pretty much non existent. All I could do is hope I would recover. 180 days later all the symptoms disappeared and I felt normal. It will all come back online, but try to follow the rules and avoid relapse. You can heal, people on this forum aren't saying it to you just for fun. Tutor
Another thing that calls me, I don't know if it's common that I see a girl who is a little naked or something erotic, I feel like dopamine for a moment in the brain or a tingling sensation in the penis of stimulation but it's just a tingling sensation without an erection in the penis
Some would say that very tingling sensation is the manifestation of the physiological changes that take place when dopamine is being released. Avoid getting to that tingling sensation, take it as a sign that you are getting ready to throw away your progress.
No it is not a relapse but if you are doing NoFap to recover, try and honour your commitment by abstaining from PMO and all sexual stimulation until you are recovered.
Whether this person's case is a case of being in a flat line for many years and then recoverd https://forum.rebootnation.org/index.php?threads/25061/
Yes that sounds like a long flatline - but I would point out that he seems like a severe case. In my opinion his case sounds slightly different to yours.
I asked if I had a tingling sensation in my penis that I was exposed to a stimulant, it's like wanting to reach an orgasm but no erection. My question is, is this sexual desire, this feeling
This sounds likes sexual desire to me, yes. I am not a doctor but the tingling sensation could be related to blood moving into the penis.
from OP: " I'm a flat line and gentle masturbating to extreme porn if the penis is limp" extreme P usually leads to (if it hasnt already) illegal content. Which then in some cases leads to illegal acts. OP is on a dangerous path, and yes, I believe jail is likely in his future if he doesn't stop. It is for many addicts.
Do you mind explaining how extreme porn use leads to illegal acts. I don't know if I am missing something but unless OP is in possession of child porn, I cannot see how extreme porn use would end him in jail. It is a negative habit that should be avoided for sure but maybe I am missing something in regards to how it can place a person in jail.
**NOTE, this reply has triggers (violence)** This is not a subject I wish to go into detail. It will be triggering for others. PMO addiction is an escalating behavior, there is no "enough" with PMO. If his pp is limp on the current extreme content, he will likely search for MORE extreme content to chase that precious dopamine high and its not always isolated to the computer screen. Extreme content viewing bleeds into an addicts life, and can lead to dangerous behaviors. The are various studies that have shown this, the aggression and rape in the P industry is often mimicked by addicts. Here is just the very tip of the iceberg on this topic: https://fightthenewdrug.org/how-porn-can-promote-sexual-violence/ https://www.ojp.gov/ncjrs/virtual-l...ction-between-pornography-and-sexual-violence https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/1077801220971352 If you don't see why an addiction to extreme (violent, fetish, and possibly underage) content can (and likely will) lead to jail and legal troubles, I don't know what to tell ya. It's obvious.
