Hello folks! I'm a recent personal trainer graduate and I was just wondering what is everyone's workout routine looks like and hope I can learn new stuff from everyone. Also, to keep myself from fapping, I can help give out tips about anything related to physical activity. So if you have any questions just let me know. You can either post here or pm me if you'd like. My workout routine consists of 4 days a week of full-body load training. Alternating between upper and lower body to ultimately build muscle as my goal. I also do cardio for 20-60 minutes about 3-5 days in one week.
P90x3 rawr! Lol, I don't know enough about fitness to create my own routine, it's much easier for me to just follow along on the screen and trust that they already figured out all the science-y stuff about it. I don't work out to get all muscley, my fitness goals are to keep my weight down, stay fit and durable and learn more about the science of what makes a good diet.
I workout 5 times a week with 3 different workouts, all bodyweight. Here's one of my workouts (my favourite): 5 sets of elevated pushups until failure. 5 sets of dips until failure. 5 sets of regular pushups until failure. 5 sets of incline pushups until failure. 5 sets of weighted calve raises until failure. I do hiit cardio once a week.

I do pushups everyday... I try to do them as much as possible. Usually I do 100 pushups per day and I am working on to maximize this number... I want to make it to 300 pushups per day... My biggest goal is to live a life free of pmo, beacuse it affects my life in a negative way and it makes me feel bad, but I am determined to win against it steps by steps
But today I am starting a new training habbit and that's running fast and then slow, fast, slow and then I go for a long walk in the forest when I can relax and focus myself on positive things and what I am going to do next...
I pyramid my sets on most lifts and minimize cardio to two spinning sessions per week as I am an ectomorph, I use dumbells as they have the greatest range of movement and are better for improving on my pectus excavatum and rib flare.
Gym Days : 4-5 Times A Week Monday : Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Abs Tuesday : Legs Wednesday : Abs ( Optional ) Thursday : Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Legs Friday : Back, Biceps, Abs Saturday : Off Sunday : Off ( I do play softball and jog about 5-6 miles this day. I am training to run 10k marathons ) Note that I am only in the gym for about 60-90 minutes a day. When I do go to the gym Wednesday's, I am only there for about 35-45 Minutes.
I was going to the gym 4 to 6 days a week. Then got fired from a job coaching agency. So I fell into a depression over that. I gained back 20lbs. I had lost 30lbs from the beginning of the year. I'm eating a lot of Ice Cream. I may start out with Yoga with Adriene. She is free on YouTube and do other free stuff on YouTube before heading back to the gym. I did take a swimming class. That was fun but exhausting. The breathing is opposite from running and/or other cardio work outs. It's a nice change. I think I will try to get that in 2 to 3 times a week (30 minutes to an hour). Then the gym 4 to 6 times. Do some cardio then the machines. Use to be at the gym for 2 or 3 hours. Felt good. Still working through this depression though. Tough hit. Wasn't not expecting to be fired from a place that helps one get a job. They gave no reason. I filed a grievance but that was a joke. So I need to move on Take it easy everyone working on Day 8. I might weight 300lbs by day 90 if I don't get this Ice Cream under control.
Strong lifts 5x5 All compound lifts, strength training. There's a app for it which makes it easy to follow. It the first program I've stuck to long term.
