So I've known about nofap for the last two years but I hadn't actually done much about it. I've gone a couple days ehre and there without PMO, but I never got the habit to stick. So here I am trying to Reboot. Something I was thinking about was every time I get the urge to PMO from now on, doing pushups till I can't do any more so I physically can't use my arms, and I'll be exhausted from that. Has anyone tried short burst exercise as a way to help abstain? I see the panic button which might help, but honestly, I think I need a physical remedy more than I need a mental one, at least starting out.
Welcome to the forum and thank you for sharing your story! It will be interesting to hear some opinions on rebooting on a purely physical strategy. A combination of strategies is usually what works in the long run as our physical and mental self, though distinct, are very interrelated. You have already taken an important step by acknowledging that something needs to change. Good luck!
