Trying to save my relationship and a new start at life

    I thought I wasn't addicted to porn, and can quit at any time... but I just realized I have a major problem of addiction ... After I pass the one week mark I fail to keep it ... and then I start doing it again almost everyday... Once I give in it becomes harder to stop the next day... I wish I never watched porn :( I have been watching it since I was 13 ... So I want to start a new streak ... go for 30 days NoFap no porn nothing ...

    Hey bro,
    Actually the 7th day is the time when the urges get stronger. It will last till the 10th day.
    So the next time you reach 6 days, be very VERY careful.
    Always watch your mind.
    Your thoughts make your actions.
    Therefore, never allow any sexual thoughts in your mind.
    I mean NEVER ALLOW IT TO STAY.
    If sexual thoughts come, oh it will, immediately throw it out of your mind, and replace it with a good, higher, positive thought.
    That replacing part is important okay?

    I will try my best I will start posting everyday once it gets really hard .... replacing the thoughts and moving out of this is just so hard in the situation .... I never realized addiction was so hard to overcome .... I will sleep in a different room and stay away from my laptop on the 7th to the 10th days ... thanks for the early warning

    Thats a good idea. But i suggest you dont give your mind this 7th-10th day limit. Otherwise, the moment you complete your 10th day, your mind will force you into PMO.

    So just be ready to battle harder through 7th to 10th day.
    Most importantly, whatever stuff you use to get you through these days successfully (be it exercise, meditation, shifting your thoughts effectively or a combination of all these), works for sure, coz it got you through this hard time didnt it? Continue doing those things no matter what.
    So do not slacken your hold on the mind after 10 days thinking it will be easier from then on.
    It will be, but you dont need to be concerned about that.
    Just dont stop your efforts.
    Thats all.
