    hi all!

i am an 18-year old gay male, and i was first exposed to porn from when i was around 11. i regularly browsed it since then, and i first started masturbating around 14. during quarantine, i started to masturbate to porn, and it's stayed that way ever since, i PMO basically every 1 or 2 days. this is all really embarassing to admit and i've only admitted this to one person ever before, who tried to help me get through the addiction, but it failed because there was no accountability.

however, i want to do it right this time around, and i want to quit PMO completely and get it out of my life. especially as a religious person, PMO kind of conflicts with my identity, and i feel like an impostor amongst most of my friends who are super religious, and just overall i feel like the side effects of PMO like brain fog and tiredness have really affected me. also it's scary but my sexuality too has most likely been morphed by porn. i've definitely seen my tastes and sexual behavior change scarily, especially due to that one effect i saw on this website where the more you consume, the more intense stuff you crave.

anyways, not to yap but i feel like i want to get started with the 90-day reboot challenge, and i saw the benefits of doing that in this website. i will start journalling and will get to work. i relapsed today, but here's to not doing it again!

    thanks,
    auggie
