I have been struggling with porn addiction for years now. I unfortunatley started when I was just turning into a teen, before I really knew the consequences it would bring. Now the worst part is knowing not only how bad it makes me feel, but also having tasted freedom for those occasional days or weeks where i was free.

I had my best reboot recently, a whole 3 weeks. It sounds horrible that that is my longest period fap and porn free in almost a decade at this point. During that time it felt like I could actually think, my brain able to properly function. I know what I must do, but it's hard.

All I can do it soldier on. Pray for me, thanks.

  2. I'm not trying to correct you in any way but I have to ask you, did you seriously complete the reboot of your brain from years of porn during only 3 weeks or were you trying to say that you had achieved your longest streak so far?

I have suffered many years from porn addiction myself and I recently went past 3 weeks, but I can say for sure that my brain hasn't rebooted yet. 90 days seems to be the sweet spot for many that has suffered from a long porn addiction and 3 weeks isn't close to that.

Stay strong man, this is my first day on here.
I’ve been watching for over 18 years since I was in 5th grade. Honestly the thought of going three weeks without sounds amazing to me. You should be proud of yourself for making it that long. Keep going, don’t give up. You can do it! We all can!

3 weeks is definitely not horrible bro! I was on here for 5 years before I was able to get 3 weeks of consecutive sobriety.

Dust yourself off and get back at it! Staying active in this community has been huge for my sobriety. After all these years, it finally sank in that consistency is crucial...and without it, I won't be able to get sober and stay stopped.

    Wishing you the best bro!
