Lucid dreaming is a hobby of mine, so I've got "extra" consciousness time in dreams to do as I please. I'm wondering about the effects of dream sex mentally and physically.

First off, physical: if the dream is non-wet, and I'm engaging in the act myself (rather than watching, like with P), is this detrimental? From what I've noticed, it certainly makes the urges in waking time much worse. This in itself could be a reason to avoid. But, if I can manage not to relapse, is dream sex releasing abnormally high levels of dopamine within my "physical" brain? This seems to be key, since if not, there would be little impact on the brain changing as intended with a reboot.

Mentally, as I made an identity shift when deciding porn is abhorrent, should it necessarily follow that I should follow this identity shift within my dreams and not go against things I'd do in reality? Perhaps it's bad for my self-image since it's essentially fantasizing about being with random girls, and that's not who I want to be in reality.

It could be that in order to keep to the true character of hard mode, I'll have to forgo dream sex as well, which in a way seems unfair, as that means dream time (if lucid) is just more "jail time" fighting urges. Well, I suppose I'll come out all the stronger. I still haven't decided if this is the right path, though. Maybe I'll just try not to seek sex out intentionally in dreams, and be more passive about it.

Anyone have any thoughts or insights into this?
