Incident happened days ago... I still unable to get myself straight https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?threads/mhmmm-i-want-to-give-up-on-nofap.355957/#post-3721446 To summary this... I was too tired and weak, while scrolling through social media... I probably bumped into things that triggered me... I'm just too fatigue, then fall as asleep... I woke up tried to remembered what triggered and... I couldn't remember! Whatever happened probably not much of considered relapse but i don't understand why I'm so triggered until now... Back of my mind keep telling me " you watched something inappropriate but you forgot that's called a relapse... " Have anyone ever been in this situation? I'm about to go crazy...
@saddist_adult I would suggest staying away from social medias like Instagram and TicTok for example (don't know which social medias you use) because social medias has terrible filtering. I had to delete my Instagram account because it had to many triggers for me and it would end up that I had to MO, because some content that people posted could (in my opinion) I see as close to porngraphic material. If you don't want to go all the way with deleting your account you may at least consider deleting the app/apps and block them from the internet. It's very important when trying to get rid of an addiction to avoid triggers at all cost and when you have completed your brain reboot you might be able to use them again because you won't find content there to be as triggering anymore. This is what I have had to do, it will have to take sacrifices to achieve your goals. Keep fighting the good fight, I know you can do it, bro!
If you are a porn addict like me, you need to stop going on social media unless required for work All relapses start on social media Get wise brother
Thanks man for writing all these, however would you consider like example guy holding their nuts while dancing or girl rubbing their body from nipple to ass apart of dancing count as relapse? I saw alot of kpop dance etc... I think this is mimic maybe this what triggered me...
Your descriptions are triggering for me I don't consider it a relapse unless it's a PMO binge But make no mistake, if you don't give up looking at garbage like that on social media you will relapse
I wouldn't count watching stuff like that as a relapse even though I would highly suggest that you stop watching stuff like that. Because every time you see content like that your brain will release dopamine which will trigger your urges and cravings for MOing which will make it very hard for you to stay on your goal to get rid of that addiction of yours, and relapses will be a fact. Relapse (in my opinion) is if you start to MO again after staying away from it.
The things you watched are not a relapse. But they can lead to a relapse via the chaser effect. If you keep yourself away from triggers , you will find the journey very easy and if you watch them on a regular basis and rely solely on your willpower , soon you will spiral back to PMO.
