New Year

    The thing that has got me to (almost) 5 years of no porn has been a strict routine.

    However, right before Christmas, I backed right off from my routine and leant into all of the comfort behaviours (no exercise, drinking alcohol, junk food, no meditation, lots of tv). Early on in my NoFap, this would have tipped me over the edge and back into PMO. However, I'm pleased to say that it hasn't - although, I can feel my brain starting to think that way.

    So, today I've started my health comeback. I'll start gently and get a bit more intense about it from the 12th Jan onwards.

    Today, I've been to the gym and as soon as I finish this post, I'll meditate. I've had protein smoothies today and I've started prepping my healthy salad for dinner.

    In the next few days, I'll be traveling to go to a wedding and then I have a friend staying with me. I know these events will not be conducive to maintaining my peak health, which is why I'm having a 'soft health kick' from now until the 12th. Then I go heavily into my health kick.

    My mantra for 2024 is "high performance" ... in work, in physical health and in my mental health.
