Some years ago i did a 10-day vipassana meditation retreat. No contact, no electronics, no communication, no entertainment. Just meditation in silence for 10 days with only one meal per day. By all practical means, this was a hardcore dopamine detox. I remember the days after the retreat, all my senses were razor sharp. Even mundane tasks felt exciting.
