I dislike it when people try telling me this. I believe it's a tactic to corner you into giving a response they desire. People who say that have no genuine desire to hear your side of the story.
yes it means your making it easy for them to rebuttal . there lazy , cannot pay attention or are far too emotional to listen to anyone elses point of view. some people are full of shit though and will never give a straight answer
