Hello my all dear friends, I am new in this platform. And I want to get rid to this porn and masterbate addiction. I had been started to watch porn and to do masterbation since when I was in 12th class . And now I'm stucked in this about 3 years. Dear friends, Now I'm feeling like a defeated person. Before this addiction, I was a healthy person but now I am a very thin and skinny boy. I spoiled my body. And I spoiled my brain also. And now I'm in depression. Seriously I am very upset . Plz help me friends.
Firstly welcome man. In your early days here read a lot about Nofap and educate yourself about what all you might face during the reboot. This is very important because when you feel like relapsing this knowledge will save you. You cannot remove an habit,you can only replace it. Build some sort of routine for yourself, start small(ex. wake up early everyday) and keep adding to it. Don't go too hard on yourself for the past or if you relapse. This journey is worth it. I had the same situation on porn and masturbating addiction and I wanted to get rid of my addiction to porn videos, masturbating, and porn webcam too because it’s hurting myself and affects my life. If I try to give up porn and masturbating addiction without nofap I still get into the porn and masturbating addiction again. Since this is my week 1 of nofap, I will continue reading user’s post and reply user’s post so people who are on the addiction on porn and masturbation addiction like me, people can have better life and become a better person when people quit porn and masturbating addiction. If you want to quit the masturbating and porn addiction there’s some lists to stop the addiction: Avoid pornography because this can lead to porn addiction and also masturbation addiction. Stay active like having new hobbies without masturbating and porn addiction or learn a new skill like trying a new sport or learn a instrument. Spend time with others like your friends and it can reduce your masturbation and porn addiction. Do some exercise activity such as running, swimming, and weight lifting can strengthen the body and release endorphins that promote feelings of well-being and be happier and more relaxed may reduce the urge to masturbate as frequently. Stay busy on track like if your studying for a exam in a college class. If your still on the addiction to porn and masturbating you can talk to a therapist to help you to quit porn and masturbating addiction so you can be better and not feel depressed. With that said these are the list that will help you to stop the addiction to porn and masturbating. I use this list so that I can become a better person and have better life so I can quit the addiction and be better if I feel anxiety or depression. Brother, this is my last hope. Because I have tried so many things to get rid. But everytime I couldn't achieve my goal. You know brother..My Dream is to be an IAS Officer. But still I am unable to do preparation of it. Because this addiction don't let me do anything. When I go to study and other things . The Urges come to my brain. And it is a bad thing with me that have no any friends. I know this is sounds strange. But it is right. Some times I cry a lot. I feel like a deadbody myself. But this platform is a hope for me.
I can understand you. There is always hope brother. I have been in stage with no friends, not able to study. I lost my dream college( I was very capable). I used to cry a lot too. But unlike you I didn't know the problem until recently. I'm still not in a very good place n all, but I learnt self-control and most importantly "I'm happy". Also try meditation it helped me. Keep yourself occupied..
