I have been addicted to this vice for 11 years now. I just turned 23 and NEED to put a stop to this NOW.

I have been attempting NoFap since late 2021 but I can't seem to stop with PMO. Thing is, I have all the porn tube sites blocked and haven't watched typical porn in a good while now, but my issues are with using chat sites such as Omegle and watching vids of interactions from these chat sites which can be found on sites/apps like X (formerly known as Twitter) and Reddit (all participants being of legal age of course)

For my computer I'm pretty much fine because I have Cold Turkey Blocker set-up which blocks the sites I have inserted into it. However, I cannot seem to find a blocker for iOS which is anywhere near as effective as Cold Turkey.

Of course I'd much prefer to cut it out regardless of if a blocker is in place or not, but it is a tool that does help I feel.

In the last 6 months I have had my two longest 'streaks', recording a 21 day streak in October. and a 25 day streak in January.

However right now I feel helpless to the situation and feel unable to stop.

Any tips, suggestions etc would be greatly appreciated!!

I'll give this a read now! Thanks man.

I must add that I messed up my screen time settings/restrictions by adding a random passcode and forgetting it, so I cannot access those settings anymore, or even purchase any premium versions of any blocking apps.

The system I currently have in place is an app called ScreenZen which blocks a series of URLs/apps you choose. However, I easily disable the restrictions by waiting for the countdown the app has in place and then editing the settings and disabling the restrictions.

With this additional info, what do you recommend?

  4. Backing up your data to icloud then remotely wiping your device via "find my iphone" on icloud.com. Make sure you have set up a trusted phone number and an apple recovery key via apple id "sign in and security" settings if you choose to do this. You can then add all the apple bundle ids of the specific apps you want to block by using this site: https://offcornerdev.com/bundleid.html Add them to this configuration file: https://github.com/John889/iOS_filtering_profile/blob/main/iOS_filtering_profile.mobileconfig
To be able to use Mobile device management you need iMazing which requires a license if you wish to go that route.
