always weird/bad thing happens after relapse

When in the center of addiction, we have brain fog, we’re bad at communicating, and we lack a profound degree of situational awareness… but our family who love us do not suffer these symptoms. They know what’s going on with you, they care about you, and they want to help. They’re also pissed off at you, but the best thing is to accept their help & be honest as you can.

I just happened to look at most recent posts and yours was it.

 

In the time that I used to relapse, I literally always could expect nothing than failure and misery.
as a Christian I know that it's something spiritual.

 

This happened to me when I drank alcohol. Bad things happened to me and the people around me all the time.

 

They shouldve called you before you did the deed.

 

So the bad thing that happened is that your parents called.

 

I mean how was it?

 

On any other day if your parents would had called you, most probably it would be little strange or even good, you might be thinking my parents are so caring about me and all.
But since, you relapsed the same event felt bad and scary, it feels like usual things happen after relapse, but our mindset makes them bad. After relapse people want some alone time to cope up with their mental state, and slowly they want to step into the world, but most of the time people rush into your life before you are prepared.

And also many people relapse during stressful time, like before exams etc, so obviously after relapse they still need to find a way to get out of that stressful situation.

Also, maybe you were given some work by your boss, but you wasted time on relapsing, so it's obvious that you are few hours behind, and now you will have to cover that up by working extra hours, or you will be messed up. So just relapsing increases the chances of encountering a bad situation because you are left with less energy, less time and more work compared to others around you and don't forget your bad mental state and guilty conscience.

 

I think it was a wake up call that they called you after not before. Although it would of stopped you perhaps and you would be thinking more with your heart then pleasure. A similar situation happened to me a few years back I got into caming and dirty kinky shit. I was extremely lonely and thought I had no friends at the time. I completely gave up on dating with tinder and social media. I thought I was not a guy that had his shit together to get a girl. But long story short some how my parents had found out or looked at my bank account I was going to rent a hotel room for the for a wedding. I was extremely jealous of everyone because everyone was with somebody and not single. It was god sent for me to have them watching my back..

Being lonely sucks and it makes us feel worse. We can spend our time with family as much as possible though and dating life seems to fade.
