Good morning and happy 2024 Christian Fapstronauts. Just wanted to get on here and post an update and perhaps some encouragement. Finished 2023 without a single MO. Woo! Praise God! Was struggling quite a bit with p-subs in October. That made me really depressed, but even so, I felt God telling me to trust in Him and that He would use this struggle. I talked to therapist and then disclosed struggle to wife. We are now going to have once a month transparency on my recovery. This is KEY for me and my recovery, as transparency with her has always led to sobriety in me. A couple months in and battle with p-subs is going very well. I shared my testimony at Celebrate Recovery here in Iowa. I have it recorded on my phone and would like to get it here to nofap.com, but not quite sure how to get such a massive file here. I obviously haven’t been logging into nofap as much, as I’m trying to focus on things that are not sexual. I’m going to start a book on prayer by Tim Keller. I have many emotional holes/needs/crevices that sex hides in and fills, and I need my focus in recovery to be connecting with God and depending on Him to fill those areas. Cannot focus on not-porn, not-MO.. therefore this site isn’t in my daily rotation. Love my brothers and sisters on here and hope you are all doing well. Happy 2024.

Good morning Nofappers, Checking in. My faith continues to grow as I continue to exchange sexual thoughts for the promises that God has given to me through his word. I use this FREE method from ‘More Than a Sunday Faith’ all the time. Some days I have to sit there and exchange thought after thought for freedom as I’m bombarded by spiritual warfare or bad mental habits. But there are many days when I’m home alone (my wife is a nurse and works nights) and I have NO temptation at all to go looking for p-subs. For the first 5 years of my marriage it was white knuckling, all the time. Not any more! I’m so happy to have found this freedom in Christ.
