chatted briefly with a guy who claimed that edging could be good for you. This contradicts everything I've ever read about edging. What's the real truth?
In my experience, edging always eventually leads to PMO. I don't see any benefit of doing that to yourself.
Edging is bad,because when you edging that will give you dopamine rush,can make you to relapse,and overall even if you didn't relapse you will slow recovery and you will feel bad.Avoid any type of stimulation and avoid all triggers.
This really isn't even a question worth putting more than a few seconds of thought into. No, edging is NEVER a good idea. That's like saying its a good idea for a an alcoholic to go to a bar and just sit in front of a frosty mug of cold beer without drinking it.
Gotta agree with all of above. Plus, I used to edge all the time which ended up being a contributing factor to delayed ejaculation. End up so desensitized and needing so long to O that finishing during sex was almost impossible at the end.

I gotta say man, I don't think this is positive or productive in any way, my friend. Why edge if you're trying to stop everything else? If you're not looking at porn, but you're edging, you are technically masturbating, which is obviously going against what we're trying to do here. NOT judging by any means, but don't understand and respectfully disagree.
I can tell you from experience it's a horrible idea. I'm real bad about edging and it's like the above have said it just makes you feel worse. If I edge I'll spend hours that day binging with no release. Finally decide for release to help with discomfort. Just don't do it
