Has anyone ever experienced severe anxiety after drinking alcohol? I've been drinking for several years and Im usually ok the next day but recently (probably the last 2 weeks) I've noticed that I've experiencing major anxiety the day after having a few drinks. It's weird because I never felt like that after a night out. My brain feels like it's numb or damaged and I'm always at an anxious and sad state of mind.. I googled my symptoms and it says that im experiencing low GABA. It sucks because I always get invited to go out to concerts and other fun events and now I'm too scared to get buzzed because of this stupid anxiety. Anyone have any advice? I'm not going to take any anti anxiety medication. No Sir
