    Do the sexual organs change?

Muscles that have not been used for a long time regress. The sexual organs could theoretically undergo a similar development - in other words, they may no longer function as they should. And indeed: if you haven't used your best piece for a long time, this can promote erectile dysfunction. This is confirmed by Dr. Christoph Pies, urology specialist and author, in an interview with FITBOOK. The lack of blood flow can cause the erectile tissue to “atrophy” in the long term. Dr. Pies talks about changes to the muscles in the genitals and scarring in the erectile tissue, which can lead to abstinence. This has even been shown in a study.

Seminal congestion - does it really exist?

Not having sex for a long time is said to cause sperm congestion and swelling of the testicles - a painful idea that can fortunately be consigned to the realm of legend. Urologist Dr. Pies gives the all-clear. “New sperm are constantly being produced in the testicles, but unused sperm will sooner or later be broken down or expelled through nocturnal ejaculation.” So there is no such thing as sperm congestion.

    Can sperm go “bad”?

Accordingly, what was said in the school playground back then is not true: that the quality of sperm suffers if you haven't had sex for a long time and therefore haven't “got rid of them”. According to Dr. Pies, the seminal fluid changes neither for the better nor for the worse, as US researchers are said to have proven in a large-scale study.

Does sex (withdrawal) have an effect on the prostate?

Yes, researchers from various faculties were able to show in a joint study that regular ejaculation reduces the risk of developing prostate cancer. 21 or more ejaculations per month led to a 33 percent lower risk compared to the group that ejaculated only four to seven times per month.

Does the immune system suffer if you don't have sex for a long time?

Yes and no. Conversely, you can safely say that having sex two to three times a week supports your immune system! Especially if another person is involved, says Dr. Pies: “Saliva exchange works like a vaccination, as more antibodies can be detected.”

Does sex deprivation damage mental health?

It is well known that sex provokes the release of happiness hormones and inhibits the release of the stress hormone cortisol. If this “act” is omitted, you are correspondingly more irritable. Many of those affected often promote this unhealthy effect themselves - unintentionally, of course. Pies reports on a study conducted by the University of Göttingen with around 32,000 test subjects, the data from which showed that a third of men and women who had sex no more than once a week distracted themselves with work. “This increases stress levels even further,” warns Pies. The answer is therefore yes.

    Does it lead to “feminization”?

No. Although the studies on the influence of sexual abstinence on testosterone levels are not entirely clear - for example, a lack of ejaculation can lead to a drop in active “free” testosterone - there is no negative influence on total testosterone or even “feminization”.

Does your libido disappear if you don't have sex for a long time?

Usually not, explains Dr. Pies, but it can happen in individual cases. Doctors speak of “widower's syndrome”, a sexual disorder in which the body has virtually become accustomed to sexlessness. However, the causes here are not to be found on a hormonal level, but are caused, for example, by grief after a separation or a death or by general physical inactivity.

Unlikely, if you look at biology, testimonies on this site, and the historical sexual practices before the sexual revolution.

Also, the commonness of nofap wet dreams and increased morning wood disproves this.

Yea, I definitely see it as tool to get people off track and relapse, not really worth anyone's time to consider. Look at the threads on success stories and benefits to see real men experiencing dozens of masculine benefits of nofap. Those will disprove all this. BTW, your genitals are not a muscle. It doesn't grow by working out and it has other functions than orgasm that keep it healthy. Post like this claim to be scientific without understanding basic biology.
