    The Liftoff Challenge – Flexible Recovery Tracker
    How far can you fly?

    For those who wish to recover from their problems with Porn and/or Masturbation while simultaneously pursuing life goals, the Liftoff Challenge is the challenge for you! Reach 1500 points to blast out of the Solar System!

    To score in this challenge, you must simply avoid resets and relapses. However, this challenge includes additional elements to help you practice good habits at the same time as NoFap.

    NoFap Points
    • +1 point for each clean day
    • +3 points for each day past 10 clean days in a row
    • +5 points for each day past 30 clean days in a row
    • +10 points for each day past 90 clean days in a row
    These can be based on your choice of the Easy, Medium, or Hard NoFap challenges. You can speed up your journey to space by using Flex Points.

    Flex Points

    Every day, you can choose to pursue up to 5 goals. Each goal you complete earns you 3 points, meaning you can score up to 15 flex points a day.

    Examples:
    • +3 points for Sleep Schedule
    • +3 points for no smoking
    • +3 points for Good Productivity
    • +3 points for < 2 hours on video games
    • +3 points for Weight Loss Goal
    • +3 points for no soda
    • +3 points for Exercise.
    • etc......
    You can choose any 5 goals you have and count them! Try to choose goals that will complement your recovery and make you a better person!

    With successful use of Flex points, you could potentially complete the Liftoff Challenge in under 90 days!

    Infractions
    For those who choose No P:
    • -50 Points for any viewing of P
    For those who choose No P and No M:
    • -50 Points for any PMO
    • -25 Points for any MO
    • -25 Points for any P
    For those who are pursuing full Monk Mode with no sex:
    • -50 points for any PMO
    • -50 points for any O (excluding nocturnal emissions)
    • -25 points for any MO
    • -25 points for any P

    You can use any method to track your points, but to be recognized for your accomplishments, be sure to journal daily or weekly on this thread. You can copy and paste the template below.

    • +X points for No PMO
    • +3 points for (Flex Goal 1)
    • +3 points for (Flex Goal 2)
    • +3 points for (Flex Goal 3)
    • +3 points for (Flex Goal 4)
    • +3 points for (Flex Goal 5)

    Additional Rules
    1. Score yourself every day, in reference to the chart. Note your progress, here or in your journal, recording what day you are on, how many points you have accumulated, your total and your level. It may help to note how you scored (or lost!) your points.
    2. You can count the days, but is not required.
    3. 0 points is the minimum. If you lose points with a total of 0, it remains at 0.
    4. If you forget to journal, you can estimate the points you think you got.
    5. If you had a combined infraction, you don’t have to dock points for the singular infractions as well.
    6. Points lost is not counted by day, but how many times you commit a P, M, and/or O infraction. This means if you binge, you must dock points each infraction. Note that you can arrest the process at any time and limit your losses, but bingeing is a sure way to sabotage your progress.
    7. DM me if you reach 1500 points, and I will put you in the Space Explorers’ Hall of Fame.
    8. New Levels will be added for Space Explorers who wish to continue the journey beyond 1500.
    9. You may repeat the challenge as many times as you wish.
    10. The Countdown to Liftoff Challenge, like everything we do here, is limited to self reporting. You can lie to us about your progress if you want. You can even lie to yourself. You can't lie to your body, and you're only cheating yourself.
    11. Stick to the same goals for Flex Points. You can change them at any time, but obviously don’t keep switching them to take advantage of the system. That’s not helping your recovery at all.

    FAQs
    Q: What counts as porn?
    A: It's up to you to define it, and a topic that has been widely discussed in other threads. Feel free to peruse those threads and deeply consider it yourself, and be open to tailoring that definition along your journey. You may find your initial assessment has been too strict, or too lax.

    Q: Do I need to count the days?
    A: No, it’s up to you.

    Q: Do I start counting days from when I start the challenge, or what day I’m actually on in my streak?
    A: This is also up to you.

    DISCLAIMER
    Completing this challenge does not equate a cured addiction. This challenge is designed to assist users with learning how to abstain, which is a necessary step but not the extent of curing addiction. As you acquire experience and skills in addressing abstention from pornography, masturbation, and orgasm, we strongly encourage you to conceptualize addiction as a maladaptive coping mechanism, to consider what you use PMO to cope with, and to develop a more appropriate strategy for resolving that problem. When you have a healthy way to deal with various life problems, the desire itself to use PMO should reduce.

    As you can see, I went nowhere today due to a relapse. However, it's clear that even a full relapse won't necessarily ruin the person you've grown to be. If you do the work to hit 1000 points, it will be obvious that a single PMO won't hinder all of your progress.

    When you fail to achieve points, just put +0 points so you see what you need to improve for the next day.

    Bible Study.

    Extra info:
    Exercise: I am following a 5-day per week dumbbell challenge. On days I am not doing this I will set a short cardio challenge (>20 mins), or have a rest day (0 points for rest days, but sometimes needed!)
    Yoga: Following Yoga with Adrienne on YouTube.
    Reading: Following a schedule and alternating fiction/non-fiction each day. 30 mins.
    Bible Study: Following a daily devotion and writing a page of A5 in my notebook, my thoughts reflections etc about the passage. At least one per day for points (I am trying to catch up missed days over the past few months).

    I've reset my counter to mark the start of this challenge. Let's go.
