And i see that a lot of you guys have a trigger when watching tv and someting like that. I dont have that i like watching netflix, only some shows can be triggering. But when i study i cant concentrate at all i have to watch porn if want to achive normal but when i resist i cant concentrate very well. Hi

This answer might not like you : Even if you can only "work normally" by watching porn first, that will only work for the short term and its not sustainable. Eventually, you will need more and more hours of more extreme porn to achieve the same state of "normal" and still, you will even be left craving for more afterwards.

The simple solution, is to live with the uncomfortable. Its not easy, but you have to push through in order to stop depending on porn.

Personally, I went through this. When I was in high school, I used to watch porn every day before studying. I considered it a way to focus. Without PMOing, urges started to build up and in the end I had to watch it anyway at some point.

Things changed when I started university. I was unable to watch porn before studying since I spent most of my spare time at the library. Actually your post made me notice how much more focused I was at the time. I could attend lectures, have lunch and then study the entire afternoon without even thinking about porn. But obviously once home I used to "relax" to porn. My addiction also started to worsen, because by age 19 I switched to more extreme porn to keep the pace with increased arousal demand.

I started my NoFap journey at the beginning of this month (resetted my counter after a week because I was fantasizing too much). I was feeling tired, depressed and I could not study like a few years ago. I am currently attending a master degree course, and I stopped going regularly to the library. Recently I used to spend much more time at home, so I watched more and more porn during the last months. And then NoFap came to save my ass.
Now I can study like crazy for hours. I am more interested in anything I read.

Remember, during your reboot you will feel urges. My suggestion would be to avoid staying home. Go to a library, or study with friends. If you really prefer being alone to avoid distractions when studying, things could be a bit more difficult since you will have to deal with porn cravings. You have to reshape your bad habit little by little. Delete everything pornographic from your computer. Clean flashdrives too. Cancel every account you may have on porn sharing sites (and bookmarks too!). This will teach your brain that you are quitting and have no intention to go back. Install a porn blocker. You can still bypass it, but it will be there to remember you why you started this. Obviously temptations remain, but this is a starting point to learn how to withstand them.

I had a different experience to you francesco, my urges and habits got out of control (from relatively innoculous monthly occurrences that made me very shameful) when i started university and the stress started setting in. Though i agree with you that dumping yourself in the library to work or rest helped kill time and detach those thoughts.

Viewing content by accident or just coming across it in life is a slow burning sensation, like someone lighting a long fuse on a stick of dynamite, the pressure mounts to put it out or kick it away; Its always in the vision of your mind's eye. Giving in is like accepting your fate in a feverous junkie high, its just a culmination of willpower to kick that dynamite away or stub out the fuse with your foot, or a bucket of water (taking a cold shower/wash for instance i guess is a good literal example)

@Harvhe University can be stressing for everybody. We made a mistake turning to porn, we were just trying to cope with that stress instead of curing it.

This can be helpful to watch. Build a set of rules to apply when you feel an urge. Urge should eventually pass and concentration will follow as a consequence.
