Day 24/30 Yesterday I felt an unusually higher pull for P.. to the point where I actually had to be extra cautious with my thoughts. Absolutely no peeking, as I know from experience:
Day 27/30 Well done crew, we're almost there I'm very pleased with how we've all done because usually these "No Nut November" type monthly challenge threads don't last all the way till the end of the month.
Day 28/30 We're a good team of Warriors. Ok folks, tomorrow's the start of a significant week because on Wednesday is the start of a new month. So do what you got to do now to prepare for May, before you know it.. June will be here.. then summer .. & you knows we gosta be on point for summer! This summer we will not hide inside in the dark anymore but instead go outside frolicking in the sunshine.
The urges are strong tonight, but I'm going to take decisive action -- wrap up work, relax, and turn in at 11:00 and read... just two and half more days to go to wrap up April...
Day 30/30 Holy moly, we did it guys.. my brothers ..we made it to the end of April.. I feel a sense of achievement. *** If you’d like to make May a good month come join us at Milkshake Mayhem May Good work everyone!
Day 30/30 I can't believe this was a whole month ago! Time really flies! Congratulations everyone, all of us deserve a pat on the back for this. I'm ready for the next month tomorrow; May the force be with us
Great job everyone, a month flies by quickly. Does anyone have any lessons they might want to share so we can all take these to May? This is kind of a rough list but here is what comes to mind: Try to become mindful of the initial moments of an urge and have a plan ready to distract yourself for a few minutes to keep the edges off Become clear on how PMO costs you including how it undermines your goals and remind yourself of this constantly, especially when you have urges Practice letting yourself feel your feelings for a few minutes but then switch to action. Journal daily or as often as possible to bring what you're struggling with to the forefront and also remind yourself of your whys and hows for NoPMO Reach out for support regularly and encourage others well so you don't feel so alone in your struggle.
