There is no such thing as a sprint to the success, it is a trial and error process, where you just have to do one easy and super hard thing at the same time- wait. You can only improve yourself as a person meanwhile, like exercising, reading a book, develop your personality and body, whilst your brain is healing.
To complement Paper's point; NoFap is a means to an end, not and end in and of itself. NoFap is just a tool to be used in a larger scale goal of self-improvement. To that end "speeding up" the process I guess would depend on what else you're trying to work on with yourself and what habits are getting in the way. That being said though, I do appreciate a bit of routine fasting. Whether it be one day out of the week or a few in a row here and there, I find it helps me break through the day-to-day distractions and get to the core of what's really stressing me out or the mental stones that need some turning. Our most important decisions tend to come on the opposite side of a little discomfort, and there's little more uncomfortable than willingly making that stomach growl.
