*!*!*!*!*!*!*!* DO NOT GO *!*!*!*!*!*!*!* Your posts here are a life-line for some of us. I am so sorry to hear that you are being disrespected. It's awful that female addicts here sometimes face such a barrage of criticism. Thank God I don't, I wouldn't be strong enough to weather it. But you are. Please stay.
@Saskia Simone, I don't follow all the threads closely, but I'm so so sorry that you're facing such disrespect. I second what @kropo82 says in every possible way. Your advice and compassion has given me a lot to think about and I am convinced it has helped me improve my attitude.
As Tolken put it, “I will not say, do not weep, for not all tears are an evil.” “May the wind under your wings bear you where the sun sails and the moon walks.” If you must go, go with the love of those who listened to you. If you stay, allow us to listen a little more. Best wishes.
Watching Chain of Command. Miss you, Skags, and wanting to thank you, again, for wearing your expensive uniform. Just putting it out here..
How are you doing @Saskia Simone? Bike-Wrench and I are becoming the Waldorf and Statler of NoFap! ;) Hope you are well, take care. :)
Hey, thanks so much for liking my post. I wrote it as a cathartic exercise. But to know someone out there read it... And liked it... Well, it meant a lot to me, and has really encouraged me to follow through on my resolve. You are definitely valuable! :)
In my defense, the English language wasn't well-designed for this, in general! Also, I read a lot of the Bible and generally mean the term like "brotherly love" as a completely non-exclusional thing. Glad you are here, sisters all!!!
Thank you for the congratulations on 90 Days, HS. And your 40 days is noteworthy, too. I've always considered 40 days the first "major" achievement in the lineup of anniversaries. Something about 40 days ... the Biblical model of an abundance of time. When you've made it to 40 days, you're obviously on a serious roll.
Dear Jedi, May u be happy and @ peace wherever you are. (but plz continue to be wonderful and crazy too)
Happy Birthday! Looking forward to a new start in the fresh journal. You're ready for new successes, as well :)
It's very nice that you are here and remain so supportive and nearly drama-impervious. Wishing you all the best!
p.s. Call me out any time you like. I'd like to avoid treating my wife like merchandise, so no better time to learn than right now.
