Well, I have a feeling that im doing it wrong. But maybe this is what it is! To keep trying and make progress
@Rising Sun !! Yes totally right. It sucks and is a big factor. Thank you for reminding ! Goodluck with your journey too.
I don't like this new me. There is something frightening in having new ways for this addiction to manifest :'' I want to be clean and just that. I honestly have no idea why I chose to do this
You’re trying, man. That’s so much more than most of the world. It’s not going to happen overnight. You’re doing well! Chin up! Onwards!!!
First 4 days are always hard, why do I have to keep experiencing them through relapses? It doesn't make any sense honestly
Hmm I think that if I leave pmo as option it will keep offering itself to me as a solution to my problem, and even when I suffer from it, I don't let it go for good. I always fear the unknown more than pmo, but the unknown could have a greater promise for me
Although by the way this is what the surface personality likes to push as a narrative: we will quit, we will overcome this, we can do it etc. No, there is nothing to overcome, no obstacle, nothing. There is only a choice, and an attachment or dependency we developed over time. That is really a painful realization, but it is necessary.
This realization might hurt our ego, but at least it sets the right narrative. There is no problem to overcome. If you let pmo go, it won't even be there as a choice. You will slide in life as if you've never met it
But this realization cannot be only accepted by the "shallow" "surface" "simple" personality, it has to be seen by the inner, shadow one
Yes, if you are learning about yourself and why relapses happen, you are really progressing. The day is just a number
Relapses are honestly needed lessons. If you keep relapsing but feel that you should quit, it means a part of you wants to quit pmo
HA HA HA! Wise words seems like failed a 1000 times but learned something each time. Also you know how it is to be successful. You should become a mentor as well
I failed many many times that is so true. But a relapse meant always one thing: problem unsolved. So change of strategy was needed.
