Cats are strange fluffy things. I had a tabby cat named Amo, named after a famous Italian Rangers player, Lorenzo Amoruso - who my dad liked as both a Prod and half Italian, and he never drank water. Refused to drink from a bowl or a cup. Turns out he used the taps whenever no one was looking. Lived for 22 years. Sadly I can't get another cat due to my younger brother's allergies. Cats are incredible little psychopathic creatures.
They are totally brilliant. They all have some kind of quirky things in their character. Our would climb onto a steep pitched roof and sit on the chimney pots. He was fearless. I didn't like this, but he would jump out from low branches on trees and catch birds mid-flight! Yeah, bit of a psycho, haha! He was okay being picked up for less than a minute and then he would struggle to get free. He never once sat on our laps, so at least we avoided him digging in his claws through our trousers, lol.

People say they don't feel emotion but they do, just not human emotion. They act instinctively and have no real empathy. But they can love their owner and look to them for comfort. Amo was lazy and would fight with my next doors neighbours cat, Pepper, whenever it went outside which was rare. He liked cuddles and I would pet him for hours. I miss him so much. Cats are so much better than dogs. Wish mines became Neo from the Matrix like yours did. Ninja-style bird stealth attacks. My Polish neighbour in my old closie I lived in would always get chased by this angry seagull who nested in our chimney.
