  Or do meet as much people as possible. Like a sales person gets better with every encounter. Once you start taking risk regularly you feel safer eveytime you be surprise how fast you learn if you just take the risk, it is hard but trow yourself in and you won't be disappointed

Try Meetup.com. Got involved w/ climbing thanks to that site. Lots of activities you can try. I was scared when I first started going to events. Some negative experiences but kept trying. Been meeting people and getting out.
