    Well, I've had had a streak of about 100 days previous year. I didn't use nofap then though. Just recently got into this filth again though.
    My question is. What is the minimum I should begin with? The goal that is? I already set it for 3 days (till this weekend). Is it ok?

    Hi itrynsucceed, welcome, I'm also a newbie :)

    Wow you did a great job having 100 days last year! I guess it will be no problem for you to set a high standard. I can't really suggest specific number, I think it depends on you. I believe we should put target that is not too easy, but also not too difficult for us, so that we can feel the sense of achievement when we achieve the target.

    If you want a number, still, I will suggest you with 1 month. Why? since our body needs about 2 weeks to get to it's highest testosterone level, and it will be as high as that. If we manage to keep this highest testosterone level for another 2 weeks, I think we're getting closer to fapfree :) That's why I put 30 days for my target.

    Don't forget to also read, read, read and research about people experience and science around PMO, it will help us to understand that it's just body reaction and we can overcome it. Keep distracting yourself from naughty stuff that can trigger your libido.

    Take one day at a time. If you want goals start with a week then move to one month and keep going. Remember if you only stop for a while and start to fap again, thinking it won't be a bad your wrong it is worse. Take it from a person who has tried for years. I am 54 days hard mode and still have bad temptations.
    Replace the bad habits with new.
    Read some of the posts here there are many stories of this addiction and just as many ways to overcome it. Prayers for you both.

    Newbie here as well, on my first run at NoFap. I've been hooked on PMO for years, and just two days ago I took the conscious decision to quit, and bring myself back to "normal."

    I set for myself an escalating goal: 7 days NoFap, no porn. If I make those 7 days, I'll change it to 14 days. If I make those 14 days, I'll increase to 21 days, and so on.

    Just like a long book, if you break it into chapters it is not as daunting a task as looking at the whole thing.

    Keep strong, and know that you have support and faith among this community.
