Do a proper 5 year reboot. Try to relapse as little as posible (0 relapse even better). I have not seen a case of PAWS go pass 5 years of abstinence (hardmode) and not heal or get benefits. Even mentorr who is getting close to 5 years is getting a lot of benefits compared to the beginning and eventually is going to heal.

God didn't give you the problem, but is giving you the solution to get out of this hell.

There are millions of people right now and in the future that will have the problem we are having, and won't have a clue wtf is going on with them or how to heal. Thank God we found this place.

If anyone knows of a case similar to mine that was cured please send it to me only that can give me hope

  3. It's true, we need to stay strong all of us togather for the next generations - we will help them and we will inspire them and this is what we will leave as our legacy, a road map for them to follow!

Regarding the time length - It's 5 Years Max, Try to stay strong and avoid any sort of triggers, you'll make it! We're all heading the same way.

Stay strong, you can do it!

    Where did such a assumptions?
    A maximum of 5 years?
I've seen people who have been in hard mode for 4-5 years and still haven't recovered.
I don't want to scare anyone, but it's true.

  5. Let's fix a maximum length, I'll say 8 Years Max. ( Hard Mode )

    What's your number ?

I think in severe cases up to 10 years old. And there, not everything depends on the period of abstinence.
Perhaps not everyone can recover 100%. Why does everyone's brain have to recover, regardless of their individual situation?
I think this is not the case. Although most will recover. But there is a percentage that will only slightly improve their symptoms.
I don't want to scare anyone right now, because I was scared of it myself. It's just that there are facts and reality, and of course we all believe that each of us will recover.

  7. So you think some cases will never recover despite going hard mode for years ?

I think they are recovering to a certain level, which was enough for the resources of the brain and body. Yes, we have a program for homeostasis and brain recovery, but I'm not sure that in all 100% of cases it will work 100%. Since everyone has their own unique characteristics of addiction, and the ability to self-regenerate the brain.
There is no such thing as 100% of 100% in nature, especially in such a complex system as the brain. Which is the most complex organ.

  9. I hope we'll receive an answer, I'll leave this to my friend @mentorr - I think he has great informations regarding this topic.

  10. When you think about it, we don't have a choice either way.

    We have two options:

A/ Fall back to the addiction forever till the day we die.

B/ Quit this addiction forever till the day we die.

    We have to choose one.

One more thing, we need to give a chance to TIME! It's our only hope.

I agree 100%. We have no other choice in this situation. If each of us notices even small changes, then this is motivation and understanding - the brain is recovering.

The reason is just observation. I've read dozens of stories over the years. The vast majority heals in less than 5 years. There are a few outliers (my case included) but usually there's always something going on with them. They get a girlfriend and start having sex, they relapse a lot, or they are having a high numbers of wet dreams. If this was my case and I would have wet dreams constantly I'd move the timeline up to 8 years. But these are special cases most of them should heal in less than 5.

We all have felt that in the reboot bro, the only way out of this is to keep going, you'll heal.

  17. This is not the spirit of a true Fapstronaut!

A True Fapstronaut has to be strong and willing to take NoFap and Abstinence as long as it takes!

A True Fapstronaut is willing to take NoFap as a Lifestyle, He has the Mindset of a Warrior.

I'm sorry but you need to change your worldview and Mindset, otherwise it will be hard to achieve success - PAWS is a yearly Battle, it requires a strong version of you.
