onceaking it's like nodding and saying yeah quite often although I don't really think and feel that is right but rather out of the overall good relationship with and maybe somewhat wrong kind of empathy.

I think it depends on the person and what the subject is. Some things aren't worth arguing about and some people aren't good at hearing different opinions. Then again there are times when you need to speak up, especially if someone crosses a boundary.
