I've joined up really because I'm interested in nofap as a philosophy that sounds like it's rooted in science! I don't consider myself a porn addict. (I have always been judicious about my consumption of porn, along with alcohol and drugs, which has always stopped me over-indulging). Also, I don't 'have' to look at porn. I can only assume, to some people I may sound as if I'm in denial! All I can say is that, from reading stories on here and around the web, I had nothing like the compulsive relationship it sounds like some people have with it. I used to look at it twice a month maximum. I am trying to stop looking at porn completely now becuase of how insidious and damaging I believe it tob in society. I think nofap is actally the next leap in feminism, becuase it will take a revolution like this to break the cycle of objectification that is prevelant in society. Nice to be here.
Interdasted: I'm glad you're here; welcome! It's not for me to evaluate or comment on whether you are, or aren't, an addict, or in denial. From what you say, you're here like the rest of us: to quit porn. I'm glad to offer my help, and I know I'm not the only one.
