Hi everyone. I am a 16 year old man, and as you can tell, i'm a newbie. I've been trying to quit PMO for a while now. One day I was talking to my mate about this and he pointed me in this direction. I hadn't heard about the "NoFap" community till he told me of it's existence. I first started watching porn when I was 12-13 years old. Since then my addiction to porn and masturbation has grown. I've tried quitting a couple times but they have never lasted very long, a couple days at most. I am already a very shy and timid person and I feel like this addiction isn't helping. Anyway, I hope with the aid of this community i'll be able to stick to my goals. Cheers

Even a few days at a time helps. It is not the end of the journey, but it adds up. Addiction puts constant pressure on us to relapse, but we can also apply constant pressure against it. If we don't give up, eventually we can make it
You are young. Now is the time to kick this. Growing up is difficult enough without the PMO messing your brain up. Get control of your life with a reboot. Find a good support group here and check in often. Especially when you are struggling. Read the free information on this site for tips.
