Guys I believe there is some difference between Nofap Hard Mode and complete Semen Retention. Well first of all, what is the third level of difficulty in nofap? It's hard mode ie. completely abstaining from PMO. And that means you won't release your semen through physical expression. But even then there is one type of release remains and that is ejaculation through wet dreams. Well from my personal experience, at the very beginning I wanted to complete the challenge of not doing PMO for 21 days( that was a huge deal for me back then ). But as I crossed 60 days and days kept going by without me doing PMO, I gained more confidence and realised that abstaining from PMO is now not a very big deal after all. And my focus shifted from just nofap to semen retention but I wasen't very sure about it because I thought that wet dream is inevitable for every person doing PMO. But really, is it???
Well i had my first wetdream on my day 77 and 79( back to back) and that is when I realised the value of semen. It's not that I felt completely shit after that. I could feel that I still had my essence inside me and I had not lost the real energy. I was still in a good condition but the now the changes were clear.
And damn guys the time when I was retaining semen, during my third month, my testosterone, confidence, self esteem, positivity, drive, and the natural and effortless power to not give a fuck to unnecessary negative things went high. It was something that I had never felt before. I always saw one of my friend act in a very Alpha chilled out way because he had that personality. I could never figure out how he was such calm, cool, masculine dude with a controlled aggression until I discovered nofap. I tried to behave like him a few times but let's be real guys, when u try to act in a certain way or copy someone which u r really not, people can easily detect that in u. And after sometime I also accepted that maybe I'm not that strong, cool, manly guy. But this time it came to me naturally without putting any effort. Things which used to make me feel agitated, stressed, angry, scared, had no effect on me at this moment.
I mean what are Nofap Superpowers? Nofap Superpowers does not means flying or walking on water or bending metal. That's fucking stupid. They mean actual confidence, increased self esteem, higher testosterone, masculinity, high energy, drive, creativity, positivity and a lot more. I was experiencing every one these benefits and they were slowly increasing as days were passing by. And I'm the guy who was in deep depression before starting nofap with a miserable condition. After my wetdream the benefits are still there because I have not done PMO until now but they have reduced in intensity. I mean I still feel manly but not as much as i used to feel before the wetdream. And these days Im feeling low mentally. The anxiety and overthinking has come back. Sexual urges and relapse are no more my problems because I have complete self control now.
Now my aim is to go long period of time without ejaculating at all. Maybe the flatline in nofap is because of loss of semen through wet dreams, not sure just saying. Because every person that I read about and saw video of who was doing nofap had multiple wet dreams during their journey. And maybe that's the reason of the low energy, depression, flatline phase during nofap. To avoid wet dreams I now wake up at 5 am, and soon will start walking up at 4. Wetdrems typically happens in the fourth quarter of the night. Have my dinner early and light, taking some ayurvedic supplements that suppose to cure wet dreams, not watch any screen after like 7 pm. I'll post another follow up post to this and talk about changes when I will regain my semen hopefully in another 30 to 60 days.
