Hi so basically im 15 and started masturbating when i was 12. Went fine until i was around 14ish and started escalating in what i was watching and my erections got weaker and i developed pied. I had many failed attempts till late march in which i have begun a long streak of nofap *have masturbated yesterday and today but was slow, not a tight grip and without porn or porn thoughts* so i have been free of pmo for almost 4 months yet im seeing little to no improvements. Sometimes i get morning wood, have had some wet dreams but i struggle with actually getting hard to thoughts and my libido has pretty much gone.

Im genuinely scared at this point and i feel as if i wont recover. I would really appreciate if anyone could give me advice. Thank you

Id also like to add on i go gym around 3 to 4 times a week and i am somewhat in decent shape, so i am staying healthy to try cure my pied

Even chose. I am 26 years old and I use PMO when I am 23 years old. All of a sudden I lost libido and hard to get an erection. I did 6 months without PMO and no improvement. It's really scary. Let's stay on track without PMO. This is the only way to cure the PIED. Healing can take months or even a year.

Keep going man, you just have to trust me when I say this will fix itself if you stick to it. Make sure you're not looking at questionable things on tiktok, instagram etc either, it might not be "porn" but it's still essentially the same thing going on in the brain. I'd also avoid trying to force things with MO, you even said that your libido isn't really there, that's your brain's way of telling you to leave it alone.

Would masturbation count as a relapse? I wasnt thinking of any porn during it and i have stayed away from porn for months, however could MO'ing count as a relapse or am i safe?

I wouldn't count it as anything for now but I wouldn't do it again either, I don't think it will help your cause.

Leave your dick alone and keep staying away from porn, that's all you need to do. One day you'll wake up and your libido will come back.

chilllad_, I wish I was 15 again and starting where you are. I am 26 now and have been dealing with a porn addiction for 10 years now. I remember the doubt I had in my mind when I was younger, so I understand yours, but you must trust the process, and trust that you will heal. I agree with the previous commenter saying to stay away from tik tok and instagram. Those apps condition your mind to expect cheap dopamine and easy rewards, not to mention the countless triggering photos and videos that can be on there. We live in an age of quick, easy dopamine and I believe it will be the downfall of many young men. Just posting on this forum is an incredible step in the right direction and I commend you for that. Porn addiction can be very destructive. Take control of your life and keep going. I would also highly recommend you read "Dopamine Nation" by Dr. Anna Lembke. Be mindful of how you use technology: it should be used as a tool to aid your life, not as a way to run from it.
