Day 2 done. But I couldn't meditate in the same time slot as Day 1, gotta change that if I need to make this a habit.
Day 3 done! It was a chore due to my lack of sleep, gotta make sure to add in adequate sleep to my schedule!
Day 4 done! It was a good day but I keep trying to listen to people suddenly coming into the room. The problems if not living alone :/
Day 5 done! I enjoyed today's session, it was fun! Now I just need to find a permanent slot for this habit
Back from tech-free week. Meditated everyday, except one day that was really busy. I am getting deeper into my breathing practice, which is nice. I find that a degree of mental relaxation is really helpful, for example for concentration practice, I don't go for 100% concentration, but rather 85-90% - this is more steady and forgiving, and if I slip out of awareness, I won't be agitated about it in the same way. I also started humming meditation most days - some people call it "chanting" I guess. It is easy to concentrate about and it feels sooooo goood afterwards.
Hi vulture, don't worry if u can't concentrate 100% Durning meditation. It takes years of practice to become a good meditator. Even 50% concentration is enough to obtain results
I'm ready to keep on track. Day 1 completed 15 minutes. Thanks for this challenge. It keeps me mindful
Day 7 done! There was a lot of disturbance but I stuck to finishing my ten minutes so I'm happy about it
I feel like i can never finished this challenge. And when i can't, i relapse. Mindfulness helps me stay mindful with god and protect me from triggers . I made a mistake, relapsed today, and the relapse made me so guilty and stopped me from doing mindfulness because i had thoughts that i relapsed and i don't deserve to be with god because of the guilty
Sorry, I haven't been committed enough! Here I go again, Wednesday's goal - to do 10 minutes of meditation.
