    Dear NoFap Community

I am a porn addict since I was 14. Back then I did not know why am I so shy when it comes to real relationships and being sexual in the real world. I only rarely really enjoyed real sex compared to watching porn. I knew that something is wrong with me but I did not know what - this is the worst part of it, because for example alcohol or smoking are known to cause addictions, but porn is a whole new thing. Then I read the book "Your brain on porn" around 2016, at it changed my "relationship" with porn. Since then I am trying to break free from my habit and read books on personal development (No more Mr. Nice guy! Mark Manson writings etc.)

From a daily, excessive porn consumption I have managed to reach an amount of one/month masturbation to porn (site blockers, real time positive experiences helped a lot). It was really hard, but I feel much better and it keeps motivating me.

However, I cannot quit this addiction the way I would like it. I still feel like that real sex motivates me less than watching porn - so I suppose I need a much longer period without porn.
This is why I joined the community, because I feel like I need support from others who have the same problems. I am new here, I would appreciate all kinds of advice and help from you guys.

    Thank you in advance
